Citizen's Forum Discussion of the Proposed Anderson Alley Rain Garden

The proposed Anderson Alley Rain Garden will be discussed tonight during the Citizen's Forum at the beginning of the City of Rockville's Mayor and Council Meeting at City Hall.

Several people will speak on the urgent need to create a rain garden on Anderson Alley to help solve, not just the twenty year drainage problem affecting their neighborhood, but also every other issue connected with the site.

If the cost-free to the City, donor-sponsored environmental solution is approved, instead of the proposed $120,000 concrete pipe and inlet, the rain garden will also spare an 82-year old veteran the loss of her driveway and shade trees.
