WHAT
Washington's oldest choral group, the Cathedral Choral Society featuring a 80-voice chorus is bringing England to the Washington, D.C.-area with its holiday special family program: A Dickens Christmas at Strathmore on Monday, December 17, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, MD. The program celebrates the holiday season with English carols, readings from Charles Dickens' famous works, and magical music by the Cathedral Choral Society, the Washington Symphonic Brass and madrigal singers. Helen Hayes Award-winning actress and director, Catherine Flye wrote and directed the performance that features Garth Bardsley as Charles Dickens. This very special holiday extravaganza brings the holiday season alive for both young and old.
