Kenneth Martin’s sculptures tenderly refer to furniture’s burden of service. They suggest purpose. Parts stack and balance against one another with precarious tension. Bits and pieces support one another despite their differences and imperfections. His work achieves a straightforward presence with divergent tendencies.
