It's rush hour and just like everyone else I'm rushing. A lot of this edition of "The Rundown" is a reminder of (you did put those on your calendar, right?), so let's get right to it in this rushing-towards-the-dinner-hour edition of "The Rundown":
- Meetings, we've got meetings. Be there tonight at 7 at to discuss the feasibility of expanding Julius West in order to help ease overcrowding in Richard Montgomery cluster classrooms. - If you win either jackpot you're going to need some help with next year's taxes. For those of you still looking for help with this year's taxes, the state comptroller's office is offering free tax preparation from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at three branch offices, including. The 12 branch offices are open for free state tax assistance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional hours of assistance will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 16 and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 18 at all agency locations. This year's tax filing deadline is April 18.
