- Perfect Roast Turkey. Barefoot Contessa’s recipe on the Food Network website, uses thyme and lemon to produce a classic flavor. The directions say to allow 30 minutes for preparation, two-and-a-half hours for cooking and 20 minutes for resting the cooked turkey.
- Turkey Breast with Cranberry Chutney, by , uses boneless skinless turkey breast. The directions say to allow 30 minutes for preparation and 90 minutes for cooking.

- Honey and Rosemary Brined Turkey with Herb Riesling Gravy, from the , brines the turkey, making it moist. The salt mixture makes the turkey absorb the water and honey, broth, peppercorns and rosemary flavorings.
- Spicy Fried Turkey Legs. Emeril Lagasse’s recipe on the Food Network website, is perfect for turkey leg lovers. The directions call for one hour for the turkey legs to absorb the seasoning and five minutes to cook the legs in the fryer.
