Where/When: International House of Pancakes, 775 Rockville Pike, Rockville. 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Why Go: Breakfast for dinner—or anytime 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. For National Pancake Day, IHOP partners with the National Capital Area Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to give away free short stacks of pancakes. In return, consider making a donation to support the fight against blood cancers.

Where/When: , 10701 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda. 8 p.m. on March 3.

Why Go: China's most gifted tumblers, contortionists, jugglers, cyclists and gymnasts accompanied by the Women’s Peace Orchestra of China playing traditional Chinese instruments with 21st-century style.
