Scheer Partners Represents Altum, Inc. in Securing Additional Office Space within Rockville

Rockville, MD (February 6, 2014) – The D.C. area’s leading grants-management software company, Reston, Va.-based Altum, Inc., has opened its new Rockville, Md., office.

Scheer Partners, the leading provider of fully integrated commercial real estate services in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announced today that it has negotiated on behalf of Altum a new 3,457-square-foot lease at 1801 Rockville Pike, a 181,150-square-foot building owned by TA Associates.

In this transaction, Scheer Partners Senior Vice Presidents Matt Brady and Nathan Crowe represented Altum, which currently has locations in Reston and London, England.

Brady says that Altum required an office for its collaborative effort with Social & Scientific Systems on a Health and Human Services contract. Space had to be in close proximity with Health and Human Services and co-terminous with the contract. “Altum’s new location not only achieves all of the functional requirements, but also puts it in a Class-A location, with a plethora of new amenities and development nearby,” Brady says.

Adds Crowe, “Our client is excited about moving into its new space and the recently completed common-area renovations in the building.”
