Rockville Economic Development, Inc. Announces New Team Members

Rockville, MD – Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) announces the addition of two new staff members to their team.  Alicia McLeod joined the organization as the Business Development Manager.  In this role, Alicia will provide business retention and expansion services to existing Rockville companies as well as assist with recruiting new businesses to the area.  She will provide entrepreneurial support to small and start-up companies and make targeted visits to Rockville companies throughout the year.  “I’m excited to have the opportunity to help business owners in Rockville by being a resource to help them launch, locate and expand in the City,” said Alicia.

          A familiar face at REDI, Alicia previously worked as the Program Manager/Business Counselor in the Maryland Women’s Business Center.  McLeod has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and management consulting and a degree in marketing from Kean University.

          Also new to the team, Rachel Cervarich was brought on board as Program Assistant.   A Rockville native, Rachel graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a BA in Theatre Education.  She brings her experience in education and administration to assist new and established businesses with the resources available through REDI and the Maryland Women's Business Center.
