Optimal Networks, Inc. Introduces Two New Cloud Computing Solutions

Rockville-based strategic IT support and consulting company expands cloud services offerings to address two common workplace tech challenges

Rockville, MD—Optimal Networks, Inc., a technology support, management, and strategic consulting company serving the DC Metro area, has added two significant cloud solutions to their comprehensive list of service offerings as a response to significant marketplace demand. SafeShare is a business-class, secure file syncing and sharing solution that integrates with clients’ networks; Lync is an enterprise video, voice, and messaging collaboration and communication solution. Optimal Networks began offering these services to clients on July 1, 2014.

According to Heinan Landa, CEO of Optimal Networks, development and launch of the two solutions were directly driven by marketplace conditions and demand.

“The fastest growing security threat in the workplace right now is the spread of consumer-grade file sharing solutions like Dropbox,” he said. “Plus, organizations and employees are frustrated by the lack of reliable and versatile options for bringing a distributed workforce together. It was time to offer affordable solutions to remediate these two common problems.”

According to Chris Goldberg, Optimal’s Manager of OptimalSphere Cloud Services, more than a dozen current client and prospect organizations have already expressed interest in the company’s newest cloud solutions.

“Within one year, I expect the SafeShare and Lync solutions to attract 300 additional users,” said Landa. “Without a secure network file sharing solution, organizations are putting themselves at extreme risk. And, with an increasingly distributed workforce, companies need dependable ways to communicate and collaborate. These are real problems organizations are facing right now and SafeShare and Lync offer pragmatic, easy-to-use solutions.”
