Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (Md.) Receives National Assn. of Federal Credit Union Marketing Award

Germantown, Md.-based Credit Union Recognized for Home Equity Line Promotion

Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MC EFCU), a Montgomery County, Md.-based full-service financial institution, recently won the National Association of Federal Credit Unions’ (NAFCU) 2014 Marketing Award for “Best Lending Promotion.” The recognition highlights innovative and successful promotions by credit unions like MC EFCU.

MC EFCU’s winning entry “Cash Grab Home Equity Promotion” offered members 100% loan-to-value, 1.99% introductory APR, no closing costs and approvals in less than seven days. MC EFCU’s promotion of its Home Equity product helped the credit union exceed its original 12-month balance projection for the program.

The award will be presented at NAFCU’s Strategic Growth Conference on March 4-6 in Venice Beach, California.

Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union primarily serves Montgomery County government employees and recently expanded its charter to be able to serve additional public sector employees, retirees and family members from other Montgomery County agencies, including Montgomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College.
