Hundreds of new, luxury apartments near Shady Grove Metro are mere months away from completion as construction begins this month on Rockville’s Silverwood development, The Gazette reported.

The project was the subject of a protracted legal battle after the city annexed the plot on Frederick Road, which was formerly a car dealership. The property will not include retail space, as originally intended.
