Report: Rockville Company Buys Bowie Mall

Bowie Marketplace has been mostly vacant since the '90s

Rockville-based Berman Enterprises has purchased Bowie Marketplace, according to The Gazette.

JBG Rosenfeld sold the property for less than $7 million, but neither JBG nor Berman would disclose the selling price to the newspaper.

Formerly known as Belair Shopping Center, the enclosed mall has been around since the 1960s, according to state tax records. But the mall has been mostly vacant since the 1990s.
