UPDATED: Police Identify Rockville Man Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances

Police: Man's body was found inside the home in the Willows community.

Update, 4:15 p.m.:

Police have identified the man found dead in a Rockville home under suspicious circumstances Thursday as 50-year-old Chandrasekhar Korapati.

Korapati's son called 911 early Thursday morning to report that his father was not breathing, Montgomery County police Capt. Jim Daly said.

Police determined that there was an altercation Wednesday night between Korapati, his 19-year-old son and his 20-year-old daughter, Daly said. There have been no arrests in the  case, he said.

The state Medical Examiner will investigate the manner and cause of death, Daly said.

Update, 1:35 p.m.

Montgomery County detectives are investigating a suspicious death in Rockville's Willows community Thursday, Montgomery County police Capt. Jim Daly said.

Family members called 911 after finding a man not breathing in a home in the 9800 block of Juniper Hill Road, Daly said. 

First responders determined the man was dead. Police on the scene thought the death could be suspicious, Daly said. 

Investigators remain on scene collecting evidence. Family members who were home at the time are being interviewed by police, Daly said.

Montgomery County police are investigating a suspicious death in the 9800 block of Juniper Hill Road in Rockville on Thursday.

Police said a man’s body was found inside the home in the Willows neighborhood.

Police have been on the scene since 6:24 a.m.
