Pop-folk duo The Sweater Set performed a sold-out show at the Mansion at on Wednesday, April 27, in celebration of the same-day release of their album “Goldmine."
The multi-instrumental duo, Maureen Andary and Sara Curtin, are Strathmore’s Artists in Residence for April.
The residency program invites local musicians like The Sweater Set to build connections with established artists and gives them the opportunity to produce new musical works commissioned by Strathmore.

The Sweater Set’s full-length album, a culmination of a year's worth of work, encompasses musical influences ranging from classical jazz singers like Billy Holiday to newer folk artists like the late Elliott Smith. The Sweater Set kicks off their first tour in May, opening for folk singer-songwriter Michelle Shocked.
