Three-time Grammy award winning singer, Nancy Wilson performers at Strathmore Music Center following her sold-out concert last May.
A display of two gowns from her career including the one she wore while accepting the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album: Turned to Blue in February 2007 will be available in the Lockheed Martin lobby prior to the performance. Both gowns will be donated to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History the following day.
The gown display will begin at 6:15p.m. and a presentation to the Smithsonian will be made on stage at the close of the performance.
