Gary Gibian (vibraphone) Gary Gibian, vibraphonist, has played piano since age 5, and drums since age 10. He fell in love with the vibraphone the summer after graduating from high school, when he played in the summer band of the State University of New York – Potsdam.   Gary also spent time on the drums in the house bands at Catskill Mountain hotels.  While in graduate school in St. Louis, he played marimba in a trio at a Mexican restaurant, and vibes in a 7-piece jazz fusion band performing in bars and restaurants and at the Laumeier Sculpture Garden.  Gary is currently playing percussion and piano in the Souler Power (https://www.facebook.com/SoulerPower) band led by Dave Panzer as well as vibraphone in smaller ensembles or as a solo instrument at receptions and other parties.
