Cliff Bernier (poetry)

Cliff’s The Silent Art won the 2010 Gival Press Poetry Award. He is also the author of two poetry chapbooks, Earth Suite, The Montserrat Review’s Best Chapbook Summer 2010 and nominated for a Library of Virginia award, and Dark Berries, one of The Montserrat Review’s Best Books for Spring Reading 2010.

Mike Gillispie (flute)

Mike has lived and played across the country including New York, Boston and Los Angeles and has worked throughout the US and Europe. In addition to regular live appearances on festival and club stages including Blues Alley, One Step Down, Twins and Utopia, Mike enjoys a high profile in the media including interviews and airplay.

Taimoor Saeedi (guitar)

Taimoor’s 2009 CD "Eastern Sweet“ has been well received and has aired on jazz radio stations in the US as well as abroad. He has appeared on recordings by other artists including "Kindred Spirits".  Born in Iran, Taimoor works with some of Washington's finest musicians and draws on jazz and Persian music, classical and folk techniques, acoustic and electric instruments.
