Surf Report: Must-See Maryland Websites

An alternative to a teen curfew, and a peek at the new Bethesda Circulator buses.

Looking for something new on the Internet? Here is Patch's weekly round-up of must-see Web destinations, picked for Montgomery County.

  • Greater Greater Washington has run several articles about the proposed teen curfew in recent weeks. The latest proposes an interesting alternative to the curfew: more youth centers, like the old Wilde Times Cafe and the recently opened Teen Escape Club Youth Cafe.
  • TBD interviews Brian Anderson, WMATA's new (and first) social media manager about his current and future plans for the Metro.
  • The dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial isn't until Aug. 28, but you can donate to the MLK Memorial Foundation at any time. If you donate soon, you may still have a chance of being a founding sponsor.
  • Bethesda Magazine has photos and a brief look at the new Bethesda Circulator buses, which will be replacing the familiar Bethesda Trolleys.
