Red Line Delays This Weekend
Metro: Expect Red Line trains every 10 to 20 minutes this weekend.

Red Line trains will be affected by scheduled track work this weekend, starting at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and continuing through closing on Sunday, Dec. 15, according to Metro's website.
During that time, Red Line trains will run every 20 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont, according to Metro.
Additional trains will run between Grosvenor and Silver Spring, resulting in service about every 10 minutes between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, according to Metro.

Work performed includes leak mitigation, improvements to track infrastructure between Twinbrook and Grosvenor, and track fastener renewal between Forest Glen and Glenmont stations, according to Metro.
