Due to scheduled track work, Red Line trains will operate every 8 to 16 minutes from 10 p.m. Friday through closing on Sunday, according to Metro's website.
Due to scheduled track work, Red Line trains will operate every 8 to 16 minutes from 10 p.m. Friday through closing on Sunday, according to Metro's website.
Red Line trains will operate as follows:
- Between Shady Grove and Glenmont: Every 16 minutes throughout the weekend.
- Additional trains between Grosvenor and Silver Spring: Every eight minutes between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Crews are expected to replace wooden ties, improve third-rail infrastructure and improve track conditions between Twinbrook and Grosvenor stations.
