Twinbrook Farmers Market Opens For Summer Business

The Twinbrook Farmers Market has returned for its second year, once again bringing an array of new fresh food choices to the community and the thousands of employees who work there.

The market will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday through November, in the courtyard at 5635 Fishers Lane, just east of the Twinbrook Metro station. Shoppers also enroll in the season’s Frequent Buyer program and obtain a Frequent Buyer card.

Sponsored by Twinbrook Partnership, a private neighborhood and business alliance dedicated to promoting Rockville’s Twinbrook community, Twinbrook Farmers Market complements the growing presence of weekday food trucks that are enlivening the area. Both initiatives reflect Twinbrook’s continued transformation into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly district that already draws thousands of workers to some of the county’s most premiere employers, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health.
