Literacy Council Welcomes New Board Members

The Literacy Council of Montgomery County named the following board members: Debra Demske, director-at-large; Iris Stein Korman, director-at-large; Mary Moore, director-at-large.  Prior to retirement, Demske, a Potomac resident, was employed by the Hewlett-Packard Company.  Korman, of Rockville,  is a Literacy Council volunteer tutor with professional experience in telecommunications sales and classroom teaching. Moore, who lives in Bethesda, spent twenty-six years working in the financial services industry and was a founding partner of Harbour Capital Advisors.

 The Literacy Council of Montgomery County, established in 1963, is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to helping adults learn to speak, read, write, and understand English.
