Voter Registration Blitz, Arena Football, Toddler Takes Terrible Fall: The Daily Digest

Elections | City hosts voter registration drive
The City of Rockville's Human Rights Commission will host a one-day voter registration marathon throughout Rockville on Saturday, Sept. 7.

A decorated City van will travel to six locations to provide residents an opportunity to register to vote:

  • Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Dr., from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
  • Intersection of College Parkway and Rutgers Street behind College Gardens Shopping Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Great Wall Supermarket, 700 Hungerford Dr., from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
  • Twinbrook Shopping Center, 2210 Viers Mill Rd., from 3:30 to 5 p.m. (near CVS)
  • East Montgomery Avenue, 100 block, (sidewalk close to the Regal Theater) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. 

Another voter registration stop is planned for Sept. 18 at Montgomery College. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5, and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
