Crime | Former Sheriff’s Office Employee charged in theft scheme
A retired receptionist at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was charged with theft. She’s accused of luring people who wanted to serve civil complaints and subpoenas through the sheriff’s office to her private business, where she charged them at least twice as much.
