DESCRIPTION:The annual conference for the Seaboard Region of the Women&rs
 quo\;s League for Conservative Judaism (SWLCJ) will be held on Sunday\, 
 May 6\, 2012 at Shaare Tefila Congregation in Olney\,  Maryland. The con
 ference\, titled &ldquo\;Sisterhood 2012 &mdash\; Out of the Box: TAKE\,
  CREATE\, AND MAKE IT YOURS!!\,&rdquo\; offers participants from area Co
 nservative synagogue Sisterhood chapters the opportunity to learn new an
 d cutting-edge ways to handle programming\, fundraising\, communications
 \, and outreach issues.\nAccording to Conference Chair Ellen Kaner Bresn
 ick\, participants will gain a better understanding of their Sisterhood&
 rsquo\;s particular needs\, and will leave the conference with a persona
 lized action plan that includes concrete suggestions for making each Sis
 terhood user-friendly\, innovative\, accessible and inclusive &mdash\; w
 hile still retaining the individual congregations&rsquo\; Sisterhood &ld
 quo\;brand.&rdquo\; &nbsp\;Sisterhood presidents will have a chance to c
 onsult with each other as well as with Women&rsquo\;s League Consultant\
 , Renee Brezniak Glazier and Current Women&rsquo\;s League for Conservat
 ive Judaism&rsquo\;s International President\, Rita Wertlieb.\nSessions 
 include such topics as\; Taking Stock of Ourselves as Jewish Women Today
 \; Taking Stock of Ourselves as a Sisterhood\; Reach Out and Touch Someo
 ne &mdash\; Communications Tools and Techniques\; Innovative Fundraising
  2012\; Inventive Programming\; Managing Your Sisterhood and Facing Real
 ity\; and more. The conference will run from 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and 
 includes buffet lunch and a light dinner. Open to all Sisterhood members
