Councilman Tom Moore reports that tonight's celebration won't include fireworks. (What's with Rockville and canceled fireworks this month?)
Moore sent an email quoting acting city manager Jenny Kimball as saying: "They're having technical difficulties that require some time to resolve. This is disappointing but safety is the number one priority when it comes to fireworks."
