The McLean School of Maryland is an independent day school for K-12 students. Under the leadership of Darlene Pierro, the school works to provide students with a unique learning environment that meets the students' needs and showcases their talents.

The school has been located in Potomac since 1978, when a group of parents, faculty and staff formed a nonprofit corporation and relocated the school to its current campus location on Lochinver Lane.
