E. Laura Golberg's poetry has appeared in Perigee, The Pedestal Magazine, Innisfree Poetry Journal and the Birmingham Poetry Review, among other places. She won first place in the 2011 Larry Neal Poetry Award of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Jet Lowe makes his living as a documentary photographer of engineering and architecture but is also an avid guitarist. He has studied with John Marlow, Regis Ferruzze and more recently in Baltimore with Zane Forshee. His repertoire consists mostly of pieces of music written by Bach and earlier composers. Featured performers followed by open mic and reception.

More About VisArts
VisArts is located in the new Rockville Town Center. It offers a wide variety of art classes, summer camps and school break workshops for children. It also has classes for adults. There's a gallery with exhibits on display, as well as artist's studios and a gift shop. VisArts also has a photo lab and darkroom. The party room is available for private events.
