Feel feathers, touch talons, and get a chance to see Meadowside’s resident red-tailed hawk up close. Listen to some hawk tales and roast marshmallows around the fire. We'll supply the marshmallows and graham crackers, you bring your favorite chocolate, and we'll make s’mores! Please register for all participants at ParkPASS.org; fee is for children only.

More About Meadowside Nature Center
The Meadowside Nature Center is the first stop before entering Rock Creek Regional Park. It runs natural and cultural history programs, during which visitors will learn about the park, its wildlife, and early Rockville pioneer living. The center features a Curiosity Room, and activities room where young visitors can learn more about the park by interacting with live animals.
