Basic Computer Skills 101A - Don’t Fear Your Computer!
In partnership with New Story Leadership, this new program is designed to give you an important insight into basic computer skills. You will learn basic terms and operations; frequent usages and how this can help your life; creating an email account and sending an email; and how to use the internet and why it matters.
With careful explanation and tutelage we no longer need to fear our computers, so why not dust off that keyboard, turn on the monitor and find out how you can enter the digital era with confidence. We cater to all levels and warmly welcome even the most frightened beginners!
This course is not for Apple or MAC computers.
Three 1.5 hour classes.
This course will repeat as Basic Computer Skills 101B

The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center works to improve communication between residents and county and other agencies and resolve issues and concerns, such as noise or zoning violations. The center also works to identify future servicing needs in the community. The body, which encompasses Bethesda, Cabin John, Friendship Heights, Chevy Chase, Garrett Park, Glen Echo, North Bethesda, Potomac and Rockville, also provides services including meeting space, wi-fi, and senior programs at its Edgemoor Lane location.
