VisArts 25th Anniversary

On Saturday, October 27th, VisArts of Rockville will celebrate its 25th year with a gala reception at VisArts in Rockville Town Center.  VisArts is a non-profit, cultural and arts education organization dedicated to engaging our community in the visual arts and providing opportunities for all ages for artistic exploration, education and enjoyment.  VisArts is located on Gibbs Street in Town Center and is an important component of the mix of activities that attracts other businesses and increasingly makes Town Center a destination for people throughout the region.  VisArts' location also reflects the values of our community, the vitality of which is measured in great part by the extent to which we appreciate and support the arts.

And this is not your grandfather's gala - no assigned seating, no boring speeches, no mandatory formal attire, although dressing to the nines is certainly an option.  Food and drink galore and a welcome flow through the galleries and classrooms of VisArts, all of which will be active that evening.  The centerpiece will be the Review<>Renew art show curated by renowned artisits Judy Greenberg and Jack Rasmussen.  And there will be an "Art To Go" raffle of works donated by the resident artists.  Raffle tickets come with each gala ticket purchase and there will be an opportunity to purchase additional raffle tickets at the gala.

Individual tickets for the gala are $125.  The purchase of a $500/person ticket provides access to a VIP reception prior to the gala.  To purchase tickets or for more information about the gala, go to www.visartsatrockville.org.  Please support VisArts and the arts and have fun doing so.  Please join us at the 25th Anniversary Gala.
