Metro released video Thursday of a fatal crash involving a Metrobus on Dec. 28 on Rockville Pike.

Nkonou Ayaovi Edorh, 49, of the 14200 block of Georgia Avenue in Aspen Hill, was killed when the truck he was driving southbound on Rockville Pike near Alta Vista Road crossed the median and struck the northbound bus.

The bus driver, Lennitta L Bryant, 41, of the 3300 block of Weeping Willow Court in Aspen Hill sustained serious injuries. Ten passengers suffered injuries ranging from non-life-threatening to critical.

Bryant, who continues her recovery, was praised for turning the bus off the side of the road just before impact, possibly preventing further injuries, reported NBC4, which has audio of the 911 call following the crash.

County police said Thursday that they have not determined what caused the truck to cross the median, NBC4 reported.
