Rockville Town Square Lights Up for the Holidays

Ice skaters, carolers and Santa Claus rang in the holiday season at Rockville Town Square on Thursday evening as the shopping district in Rockville Town Center hosted an open house and holiday tree lighting ceremony.

Wonderful photos! I still have very fond memories of how "old" Rockville looked (pre-Rockville Mall). East Montgomery Ave. was draped back and forth with multi-colored lights and was called Christmas Ave. It was very much like the scene in "It's a Wonderful Life" when Jimmy Stewart was running through Bedford Falls in the snow.
But the new decorations and Christmas Tree are great.....new memories are always welcome!!!

Nice to "see" you again, Jeff!

I love the rink. I think it's impossible to walk by and not feel yourself begin to smile.

The one at the Sculpture Garden in DC is great, too.
