Police Release Photos of Suspects in Stun Gun Robbery
Suspects used the victim's credit cards at two stores in Prince George's County, police said.
Rockville City Police on Friday released photos of suspects in a May 25 robbery in which two men used an electroshock weapon on a Rockville woman and stole her purse.
The photos were taken from surveillance footage at stores in Clinton and Capitol Heights where the suspects used the victim’s credit cards following the attack, police said in a news release.
The suspects were seen driving a blue or gray four-door Chevrolet sedan, the release said.
The robbery occurred as the 28-year-old woman attempted to unlock the door to her building at the Americana Centre apartments on Monroe Street just before 12:30 a.m.
The woman received minor burns to her neck, chest and arm, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident and/or the suspects is asked to call the Rockville City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 240-314-8938.
