The Montgomery County Road Runners Club and Kaiser Permanente sponsor the 17th annual Pike's Peek 10K & Kids Fun Run beginning at 7:50 a.m. Sunday at the Shady Grove Metro station and finishing at White Flint Mall.

Lanes on the pike will be closed from around 7:40 a.m. to about 9:30 a.m. There will be no cross-traffic along Rockville Pike beginning around 7:35 a.m.

Limited registration for the 10K will be accepted from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. at the Shady Grove Metro station. Race day registration costs $45.

A 1K Run Around and 50-meter Toddler Trot begin and end in the White Flint parking lot near the Cheesecake Factory. Start time for both events is 9:30 a.m.
