Yoga practitioners made the most of a hot evening with a yoga flash mob at Rockville Town Square Plaza in honor of the summer solstice on Wednesday.

Humidity combined with temperatures in the 90s to make it feel like 100 degrees or more around the region on Wednesday. A heat advisory remains in effect through 10 p.m. on Thursday, when temperatures are expected to hover near 100 degrees with heat index values of 100 to 105 degrees.

The City of Rockville offered some relief Wednesday with cooling centers. The county offered "Tips for Surviving the Heat."
