More than 8,400 Without Power Monday Evening in Montgomery County

Power outages increased in Montgomery County as Hurricane Sandy grew closer to making landfall Monday evening.

 

More than 8,400 Pepco customers were without power in Montgomery County by 6:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29:

  • 20812, 20816, 20818: 17 customers without power
  • 20815: 658 customers without power
  • 20912: 16 customers without power
  • 20901: 53 customers without power
  • 20903: 534 customers without power
  • 20904: 12 customers without power
  • 20905: fewer than five customers without power
  • 20902: 332 customers without power
  • 20910: 452 customers without power
  • 20817: 459 customers without power
  • 20854: 1,257 customers without power
  • 20852: 1,409 customers without power
  • 20906: 768 customers without power
  • 20860: fewer than five customers without power
  • 20850: 1,070 customers without power
  • 20878: 1,324 customers without power
  • 20874: fewer than five customers without power
  • 20877, 20880: fewer than five customers without power
  • 20879: five customers without power
  • 20882: 79 customers without power
  • 20832: six customers without power

Where are all of the Pepco haters? 48,000 outages during a hurricane is not bad. Pepco did a heck of a job rebuilding their system in June and July.

I am pleased, its great we had power all day Monday in 20850, but Monday night we lost the power, hope we can get it back today. Pepco should keep up the good work! Simi
