Burglaries and Robberies in Montgomery County Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Jan. 7-15, according to county police.

 

 

The following is compiled from Montgomery County Police Department crime summaries. Arrests do not imply guilt.

600 block of Crabb Avenue: Two shed burglaries occurred between 1:01 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Jan. 7. In one case there was no forced entry and property taken. In the other case, there was forced entry, but no property taken.

7100 block of Mill Run Drive, Derwood: A residential burglary occurred at 4:28 p.m. Jan. 14. Unknown means of entry. It is unknown whether anything was taken.

900 block of Grand Champion Drive: An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred between 11:59 p.m. Jan. 13 and 8:48 a.m. Jan. 14.  Forced entry. Nothing taken.

12100 block of Devilwood Drive: A residential burglary occurred between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 8. Forced entry. Property taken.

10700 block of Mist Haven Terrace: A residential burglary occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. Jan. 15. Forced entry. Property taken.

13200 block of Turkey Branch Parkway: A strong-arm robbery occurred at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 15. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Suspect description: Male, 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 9 inches, 170 pounds, light complexion with no facial hair, wearing a dark blue hoodie and blue jeans.

13400 block of Justice Road: A residential burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Jan. 11 and 4:27 p.m. Jan. 12. Forced entry. Property taken.

2621 Research Boulevard: A commercial burglary occurred at the Extended Stay hotel just after 2 a.m. Jan. 12. Forced entry. Property taken.

Suspect description: Male, 35 to 45 years, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, 160 to 190 pounds.

Three Rockville teens were arrested for an armed robbery at Sasa Dollars and Toys, 2563 Ennalls Avenue, Wheaton at 9:33 p.m. Jan. 10. A suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property. A 16-, 16-, and 14-year-old from Rockville were arrested.
