A Stabbing, Burglaries, Theft and a Drug Arrest in City Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Oct. 22-25, according to Rockville City police.

 

 

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

Jefferson Plaza and Fleet Street: A 41-year-old man was arrested for failure to obey a lawful order and hindering and obstructing a police investigation at 6:38 p.m. on Oct. 23.

2800 block of Glenora Lane: A 20-year-old man was arrested for attempted theft, rouge and vagabond, and conspiracy to commit theft between 2 and 2:33 a.m. on Oct. 25.

MacArthur Drive and Charles Street: A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance—oxycodone-hydrochloride, possession of a controlled dangerous substance—marijuana, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia at 4:01 p.m. on Oct. 24. A 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of a regulated firearm after being convicted; wear, carry, and transport of a handgun in a vehicle; and possession of a regulated firearm.

Incidents

800 block of Baltimore Road: The complainant reported that as he was leaving a restaurant to go home between 10:20 and 10:28 p.m. on Oct. 22, he was followed by three unknown subjects, one of whom asked for a cigarette. The complainant complied. As the complainant was getting into his vehicle, subject No. 1 stabbed the complainant three times. All three subjects fled the scene in the direction of First Street.

Suspects’ descriptions’:

  1. A white or Hispanic male; about 22 years old; 140 to 150 pounds; with short, black hair and a goatee. The suspect has tattoos: a heart with a marijuana leaf on his chest, a rose on his left arm, and a name on his left arm.
  2. A white or Hispanic male, 20 to 21 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, 150 to 170 pounds, with short black hair.
  3. A white or Hispanic male, 21 to 23 years old, 5 feet 1 inch, 130 to 140 pounds, with medium length black hair. 

200 block of Woodland Road: An unknown subject or subjects gained access by breaking the rear basement door window at a residence between noon and 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23. Nothing was taken.

1400 block of Research Boulevard: The complainant reported that an unknown subject entered a business and removed five laptop computers between 6:25 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 6:42 a.m. on Oct. 23.

Unit block of Alsace Lane: An unknown subject or subjects gained access through an unlocked door of a shed between 5 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 25. Once inside, the unknown subject or subjects removed a bicycle.

200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed her cell phone from an unattended backpack at Richard Montgomery High School between 11 and 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 25.
