A Mugging, Thefts and Burglaries in City Police Reports

Arrests and incidents for Oct. 4-14, according to Rockville City Police.

 

 

The following is compiled from crime summaries provided by the Rockville City Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

700 block of Crabb Avenue: A 33-year-old man was arrested for violating a protection order at 4 p.m. on Oct. 11.

700 block of Rockville Pike: A 37-year-old man was arrested for trespassing between 7:14 and 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 14.

2000 block of Veirs Mill Road: A 53-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and drunken disorderly at 7:23 p.m. on Oct. 12.

Incidents

700 block of King Farm Boulevard: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed a tablet with an interactive pen, a laptop, and two projectors from a business between 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 5.

1200 block of Rockville Pike: The complainants reported that an unknown subject or subjects removed two purses, five credit/bank cards, U.S. currency, and two checkbooks from two vehicles between 9:38 and 11 a.m. on Oct. 9. 

Unit block of Maryland Avenue: The complainants reported that an unknown subject or subjects removed a wallet, U.S. currency, six credit/bank cards and two padlocks from two lockers at a health club between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 9.

14600 Southlawn Lane: An unknown subject or subjects gained access by cutting a hole in a chain link fence at a storage facility between 3:03 and 5:40 a.m. on Oct. 11. Once on the property, the unknown subject or subjects forced open five storage units and removed a knife and a holster.

2000 block of Veirs Mill Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject or subjects removed U.S. currency from her unattended purse at a store at 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 11.

Suspects’ descriptions:

  1. A white or Hispanic female with brown medium length hair. Last seen wearing a red jacket.
  2. A white or Hispanic female with long black hair. Last seen wearing a dark blue sweater and long blue jeans.
  3. A white or Hispanic male. Last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a dark blue baseball cap and long blue jeans.

300 block of Silver Rock Road: The complainant reported that while out walking at 2:22 a.m. on Oct. 13 he was approached by two unknown subjects who demanded money. The subjects took cash and a credit card from the complainant and fled towards Clagett Drive.

Suspects’ descriptions:

  1. A black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, 130 to 140 pounds, with a black Afro and a thin build. Last seen wearing black jeans and a black long-sleeve T-shirt.
  2. A black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, 150 to 180 pounds, with a black Afro and a medium build. Last seen wearing a black winter jacket, black T-shirt and blue jeans.

100 block of North Stonestreet Avenue: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an air conditioning unit from in front of a business between 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 14.

14900 block of Shady Grove Road: The complainant reported that an unknown subject removed an unattended purse containing a wallet, U.S. currency and a driver’s license from a restaurant between 9 and 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 13.
