Montgomery Hospice leadership changes

Millicent Higgins, formerly Clinical Manger, has been promoted to Vice President of Nursing Services. Ms. Higgins has many years of nursing experience, and also years of experience as a manager and an educator. She will be leading Montgomery Hospices’ hospice at home program, which provides compassionate, professional medical care to patients in their homes.

Gerry Vent, formerly Director of Advancement for Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, has been named as Vice President of Philanthropy. Ms. Vent is looking forward to leading the Montgomery Hospice Gentle the Journey Campaign to its successful completion and plans to continue to enhance community awareness of the exceptional service Montgomery Hospice provides to residents of Montgomery County.

Robert A. Washington, Ph.D., MDiv., formerly Vice President of Counseling Services, has been promoted to Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Washington’s extensive managerial experience and dedication to Montgomery Hospice will allow him to effectively manage Montgomery Hospice’s continued growth.
