The Montgomery County Redistricting Commission will hold its first public forum addressing redistricting the five County Council districts on Thursday, May 26.

Montgomery County’s population of 971,777 makes it again the most populous jurisdiction in the state according to the 2010 Census. Redistricting is critical in that it allows for proper democratic representation.

Montgomery County residents are encouraged to attend and give input on this important project.

Each speaker will be asked to limit their testimony to three minutes.
