Montgomery County Mental Health Association (MHA) awarded Montgomery College with the 2010 Mental Health Bell Award which is given to  to an individual or organization that embodies continued support and dedication to mental health and stigma reduction.

Montgomery College's  Combat2College (C2C) program to assist  specialized populations such as veterans and military service members with their transition to college received recognition from MHA.

Additionally, MHA also recognized the College‟s Mental Health First Aid program which teaches citizen responders how to provide initial help to people who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
